In 1968 when the Beatles were making the White Album, Lennon had the pickguard removed from his Casino and professionally sanded to bare wood and lightly lacquered with two thin coats of nitro-cellulose. All of our instruments are thoroughly gone over and set up by our luthier. The John Lennon Casino is a hollowbody electric archtop guitar. John Lennon used the Epiphone Casino as his main instrument during the remainder of his time with the Beatles. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 8.5 out of 10. There are extra tuner holes (like on Johns, hee hee) in the back of the headstock, extra thumbwheels at the bridge (like on the old ones), and plastic. This guitar is in very good condition, and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches and a small amount of wear on the back. Condition notes: clean with only minor use-wear and aging to parts throughout. As seen in the video is a Epiphone John Lennon ES230TD Casino 'Revolution' #143/1965 with the original case and certificate of authenticity.
